The short version. Songada stores your catalog on your own device and in your private iCloud. Iconic Horizon, Inc. does not collect, see, sell, or share it. There are no third-party trackers or advertising in the app.

This Privacy Policy explains how Iconic Horizon, Inc. ("Iconic Horizon", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the Songada app for Mac, iPad, and iPhone (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information the App handles

Songada is a tool for managing a music catalog. The information you enter — works, recordings, music videos, releases, splits and writing credits, registrations, identifiers (such as ISWC and ISRC), people and companies, notes, and any files you attach — is your catalog data.

Your catalog data is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced across your own devices through Apple's iCloud (a CloudKit private database tied to your Apple Account). This sync is handled by Apple. We do not operate servers that receive your catalog data, and we cannot access your private iCloud database.

What we collect

Nothing from your catalog. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not build profiles of you and we do not sell or share your information.

iCloud and Apple

If you enable iCloud, your use of sync is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple may process limited information to provide iCloud and the App Store. We receive only what Apple makes available to all developers — for example, anonymized, aggregated sales and usage reports, and crash diagnostics if you have chosen to share them with developers. This information does not include the contents of your catalog and is not used to identify you.

When you contact us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and improve the App, and we keep it no longer than necessary.

Your data is yours

You can export a complete backup of your catalog from within the App at any time.
You can delete records, or remove the App, to delete your data from a device.
Signing out of iCloud stops sync; deleting data syncs that deletion to your devices.

Children

Songada is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Your catalog data is protected by your device's security and by Apple's iCloud security. The App uses only standard encryption provided by the operating system. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but because your data stays within your own device and iCloud, it is never exposed to our infrastructure.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
